Peanut Butter & Oatmeal Easter Egg Cookies Recipe

Ingredients

3 cup McCann’s® Quick Cooking Rolled Irish Oats
1 stick butter or (Crisco® Butter Flavor All-Vegetable Shortening Baking Stick)
2 cup sugar
1/2 cup milk
2 tsp Spice Islands® Pure Vanilla Extract
1 cup peanut butter
3 tbsps. peanut butter powder
¼ cup mini chocolate chips
Sprinkles
1 pinch salt

Directions

  1. Over medium-high heat, combine butter, milk, salt, and sugar. Bring to a boil for 1 minute.
  2. Remove from heat. Add vanilla and peanut butter.
  3. Mix in dry McCann’s® Quick Cooking Rolled Irish Oats and peanut butter powder until coated.
  4. Once combined, add sprinkles and mini chocolate chips.
  5. Scoop into plastic Easter eggs and place them in the fridge for 1 hour.
