Ingredients

Meatloaf

 

Glaze

  • 6 Tbsp. ketchup
  • 1 ½ Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 3 Tbsp. brown sugar

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Place the ground beef, oats and onion in a large bowl.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together the ketchup, eggs, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper and garlic powder until fully blended.
  4. Pour this mixture into the large bowl and gently combine all the ingredients. Do not overmix.
  5. Press mixture into a 9×5-inch loaf pan and smooth out the top.
  6. In a small bowl, whisk together the ingredients for the glaze.
  7. Spread half of the glaze over the top of the meatloaf; reserve the other half.
  8. Bake for 1 hour.
  9. Increase oven temperature to 400°F then remove the loaf from the oven.
  10. Brush on the remaining glaze and return the loaf to the oven.
  11. Bake for 10 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  12. Remove from the oven and allow to cool on a wire rack for 10-15 minutes before slicing.
