McCann’s® Meatloaf with Oats Recipe

Ingredients
Meatloaf
- 1 ½ lb. ground beef
- 1 C. McCann’s® Quick Cooking Rolled Oats
- 1 sm. onion, small diced
- ¼ C. ketchup
- 2 eggs
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- ¾ tsp. coarse salt
- ½ tsp. black pepper
- ½ tsp. Spice Islands® Garlic Powder
Glaze
- 6 Tbsp. ketchup
- 1 ½ Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 3 Tbsp. brown sugar
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Place the ground beef, oats and onion in a large bowl.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the ketchup, eggs, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper and garlic powder until fully blended.
- Pour this mixture into the large bowl and gently combine all the ingredients. Do not overmix.
- Press mixture into a 9×5-inch loaf pan and smooth out the top.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the ingredients for the glaze.
- Spread half of the glaze over the top of the meatloaf; reserve the other half.
- Bake for 1 hour.
- Increase oven temperature to 400°F then remove the loaf from the oven.
- Brush on the remaining glaze and return the loaf to the oven.
- Bake for 10 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
- Remove from the oven and allow to cool on a wire rack for 10-15 minutes before slicing.
